On June 15, 20 Indian soldiers were attacked and killed by Chinese forces on the borders of the Galwan valley in eastern Ladakh. The Galwan clash occurred at the south bank of the river, which flows in an east-west direction, before its confluence with Shayok River. This was the first clash between the Chinese and Indian armies since 1975, when an Indian patrol was ambushed by Chinese troops in Arunachal Pradesh.
Actor Ajay Devgan, who was last seen in the film ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ is all set to announce a film based on this above mentioned Chinese attack on the Indian soldiers. It is not yet revealed if he will play a role in it or not. According to the film’s description, it will narrate the story of the sacrifice of 20 Indian army men who fought the Chinese army.
Ajay’s Tanhaji directed by Om Raut, which also starred Ajay’s wife Kajol and the nawab of Bollywood Saif Ali Khan, was highly appreciated by the audience and critics alike.
Ajay will soon be seen in a war drama which also features Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Nora Fatehi, Ammy Virk, and Sharad Kelkar. The film is slated to release online.
